Dental Care

Good dental care is as important for your pet as it is for you.  Proper dental care not only prevents bad breath and periodontal disease but also prevents infection spreading through the blood stream to your pet's liver, kidneys and heart.  This bacterial shower can lead to permanent organ damage affecting your pet's overall health.

Dental cleaning includes anesthesia with monitoring, ultrasonically scaling each tooth, hand scaling each tooth both above and below the gum-line, high speed polishing of the tooth surface, and post procedural monitoring with pain relief as needed.  Extractions or other procedures are provided by our doctors on an as needed basis.

We can also help you with your pets home care by providing training on how to clean your pets teeth.  We also carry an assortment of dental products to keep their teeth clean and their breath fresh.
